Mel and Josh Photobooth Wedding

It’s been an exciting time here at Studio Six Photography. We’ve just started a new venture. We’ve hopped on the PHOTOBOOTH train! The wedding of Mel and Josh was the first wedding where we tested out our brand new photo booth and it was a roaring success – you can tell by the fun everyone is having in the photos.

The wedding was shot by senior photographer Richard on a very wet Saturday, the 23rd February 2013.

The wedding was held at Wyndham Estate. The venue has barrels and lots of beautiful walls. Mel and Josh were stoked to have a funky purple wall as their backdrop.

Denise and Luke’s Wedding

The next bride and groom to feature on our Wedding Showcase Blog is Denise and Luke. They live in Sydney and were married on 18th August 2012 at Loreto Normanhurst Chapel.

The wedding was photographed by senior photographer and owner Rich and he was assisted by Sami.

They had a bridal party of five bridesmaids and five groomsmen.

The reception was held at Falls Retreat, Oxford Falls.

Taylor and Jordan’s Wedding

The next wedding to add to our Showcase Blog is the wedding of Taylor and Jordan.

They’re from Sydney and they were married on 11th August 2012 at Pepper’s Creek Chapel in the Hunter Valley.

They were married by Bill Graham (Jordan’s Pop) and Glen Wiseman.

The bridal party had five groomsmen, one page boy, four bridesmaids, one junior bridesmaid and one flower girl. Nick was the best man and Troy, Taylor, Connor and Lachie (the last three are Taylor’s brothers) were the groomsmen. Jamie was the page boy and Olivia was the flower girl. Maddy was the maid of honour and Britany, Georgie and Jenny served as bridesmaids with Isabella (Bella) as junior bridesmaid.

The reception was held at the Peppers Creek Barrel Room.

Raeleigh and Scott’s Wedding

We’ve been so busy getting photos ready for our clients (as well as shooting them) that there’s been a bit of a lag in posting to our Showcase Blog. We’re very excited to be posting again!

This is the wedding of Raeleigh and Scott Sattler. They were married on 14th July 2012. The ceremony took place at King Edward Park and the reception followed at Brown Sugar, Warners Bay.

We’ve selected some of our favourite images from the wedding, shot by the lovely Leanne and assisted by Claire.

They were married by Kez, from Wed by Kez.

There were five bridesmaids and groomsmen.

The maid of honour was Kiaraleigh and the rest of the bridesmaids were Christina, Kimberley (Raeleigh’s now sister-in-law), Brodee and Jessica.

The best man was Jordan, Scott’s brother and the rest of the groomsmen were Stephen, Shannon, Nick and Sean.

 

Wedding Folio Workshop

Here at Studio Six Photography we have an exciting event coming up.

It’s been a really long time in the making and luckily things have finally come together. We’re very excited to announce our first ever REAL WEDDING FOLIO WORKSHOP!!

What is a Wedding Folio Workshop? Over a period of two days (Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd March), budding photographers who are interested in expanded to weddings get a chance to work under senior photographer and owner of Studio Six Photography, Richard Low, to learn the skills required to photograph a wedding.

To make this workshop even more amazing, on the second day, you have the opportunity to shoot at ACTUAL WEDDING! The wonderful Michelle and Peter will be the bride and groom and they’re very excited to see what you have up your sleeve.

Layla and Andrew’s Wedding

We’re very excited that Layla and Andrew are the first couple to feature on our brand new Showcase Blog. We’ve selected some of our favourite images from the wedding, shot by Leanne, one of our lovely photographers who was assisted by Linda.

Layla and Andrew were married on Friday 11th May 2012 at the beautiful Salamander Bay in a small intimate ceremony with family and friends. They are from Canberra and travelled up a few days before the Big Day.

They were married by Melodie, from Melodie’s Magic Moments.

Serving as Best Man was Simon, the brother of the groom and the gorgeous Shelley was the Maid of Honour.

Big dog lovers, their pretty pooch got to make a trip down the aisle as well.

Their reception was held on the balcony of the holiday house they were staying at in Salamander Bay.
